In this Weekly Wave: Hello divers, The new year comes to us with a full schedule of dive expeditions that beats anything we have ever accomplished. Upcoming plans include: Three international trips to Costa Rica, Colombia plus a wildcard destination. Regional trips to San Diego, Santa Barbara (Channel Islands) and Hawaii. Not to forget our "camping extravaganza" scheduled for mid August up in Lake Tahoe. Plus, the many dives in Monterey that await us in sites such as Point Lobos, Lovers, McAbbey and much more. Hope you can join us in some of these! **** The Calidivers Group purchase program is on! We
will be making an organized volume purchase of SCUBA gear in May, and
you are invited to participate and take advantage of outstanding
quality gear items for prices that are significantly below retail. For more information contact Mauri at mmunoz@calidivers.org **** Keep
an eye on our web site's calendar page: the new dive schedule is about
to come out any time now, with lots of surprises for our members. Let
us know if you would like to participate in any of these events and
also contact us if you would want to help us organize such events. **** The first CaliDivers officers meeting is scheduled for mid March. All
members with a current club membership are welcome to participate. You
may come help us elect new members, nominate new members or nominate
