CaliDivers has a long-standing principle that teaches us to be healthy and fit to dive.

Two of the most effective activities to keep fit for diving are swimming and running.

We are not just talking about this; we are acting on it.

In fact, Mauri -our CaliDivers president- along with two other club members- recently completed his second half marathon of the year.

"In the world of running, there are those who run, and then there are those who talk about it".

CaliDivers has recently been invited to participate in the first edition of the Nitro Trail Run in Pinole, California (5K, 10K, and Half Marathon).

Members and relatives who wish to participate in this race will enjoy a 20% off the early sign-up fee, provided we can sign up at least 5 members before May 5th 2009.

This is a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity to run the first edition of what is likely to become one of the major running events in the Bay Area.
