We are going back to Shipwreck alley in San Diego!
You need to be at least an intermediate diver and know how to control your bouyancy well in order to participate in this trip -this is NOT a guided dive.

Two dives onboard the Marissa, then lunch after the boat trip.
What: Two dives down to the Yukon.
When: Saturday April 3rd, 2010, leaving at 7:30am sharp.
Price: $75 per diver, includes tanks, fills, weights, and snacks onboard the Marissa.

Hotel: There are two hotels we recommend:
La Quinta Inn, 641 Camino Del Rio South, San Diego CA.
phone: 619.295.6886. Their rooms run for around $90 with two queen size beds.

Super 8 Motel - San Diego Sea World Zoo, 445 Hotel Cir S, San Diego CA 92108.
phone: 619.298.0668. Their room run for around $55 with two queen size beds.

Do you have any information on hotel and ground transportation?

Hi Gil,
glad to see you are considering coming in this trip!
Here is some basic info regading our plans:
First of all, the trip has moved for the weekend of April 2-4 (Fri - Sun).

This year we will all be flying rather than driving a vanpool -as we have done in preious years.
You don't need to bring weights or tanks -they are provided by the boat operators- but you need to bring everything else.

We have leased the Marissa on Saturday morning to have them take us on location to either the Yukon wreck, the USS Ruby wreck, or both.
A few times a year we also check other wreck sties.

Mauri,
Isn't the March dive in San Diego on March 13, 2010? Just curious because your calender shows that date.

Final date for our first San Diego trip of 2010 is Saturday, April 3rd.
We are leaving on Friday 4/2/10 and coming back on Sunday 4/4/10.
Two dives onboard the Marissa, going down to the Yukon.

Adam and I are going to be arriving at the San Diego airport on Friday, around 7:30pm. We are going to rent a car, then head down to Super 8 Motel.
