All the listed shops have been submitted for approval by our club members. Anyone who is a CaliDivers member may request one of the officers to visit his/her preferred dive shop for a quick visual inspection. Upon successfully passing the inspection, the dive shops will be listed on this page.
To become a CaliDivers-approved dive shop a CaliDivers officer will visit the store, inspect and approve -- whenever appropriate -- based on the following criteria:
Overall cleanliness of the facilities
Customer Service
Inventory
Air-filling facilities
Pricing
After concluding the visit, the officer will inform the dive shop owner/manager of the outcome and observations. The store will either pass the evaluation or it will be invited to apply again in 3 months. A store that passes the evaluation will enjoy free advertising on our website. The goal of this program is to come closer to as many good dive shops as we possibly can.
